Each Kantha Jacket is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art, handcrafted from vintage kantha quilts and antique textiles sourced throughout India. Rich in history, these textiles are layered with time, carrying the stories of generations through every stitch.

Kantha is a traditional Indian embroidery technique, originally created by women who repurposed worn saris and fabrics by layering them together and hand-stitching them into quilts. This slow, intentional process transforms discarded textiles into something both functional and deeply meaningful—an art form rooted in sustainability, resourcefulness, and heritage.

Our jackets are made by carefully selecting and reworking these vintage kantha pieces, preserving their character while giving them new life. You may notice subtle variations—fading, patches, or visible stitching—each one a reflection of the textile’s past and a testament to its authenticity.

No two are alike. Each jacket is entirely unique, blending history, craftsmanship, and modern expression into a piece that is as individual as the person wearing it.
